Paolo Villanueva

Paolo Villanueva is a product design leader working at the intersection of product design, human-computer interaction, and emerging technology. He builds intuitive, human-centered experiences across XR, AI, and cross-platform systems.

He holds an MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design and a background in Computer Science, bringing both technical depth and strong design judgment to his work.

Paolo has led the design and development of immersive products used by organizations like GE, Siemens, and Mass General Hospital. As Creative Director at EducationXR, he leads multidisciplinary teams to design and ship scalable training platforms, translating complex workflows into clear, usable experiences across spatial, mobile, and desktop environments.

His background also includes venture, where he supported 50+ startups on product strategy and growth, shaping how he approaches design through a product and business lens.
